Ring Of Honor Wrestling’s “The Brawler” Brian Milonas is Disney-ing it up, so Chaotic Wrestling’s “Firebrand” Brian Fury and referee Mike Crockett invited on a fella who is also chunky, while being funky, New England wrestling veteran Sonny Goodspeed! With Thanksgiving upon us, it’s an opportune time to give thanks and praise for all independent wrestling has given us, and what it’s giving the talent out there today. Some education on how it used to be, some thoughts on how it is right now, some heartfelt personal stories, and plenty of laughs along the way. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone listening! Plus, this Promo About Nothing is gonna blow, thoughts on RAW in Boston, NXT and AEW, and Fury gets to stage dive at Breaking Point!
Brian Fury is back from Walt Disney World and feeling the magic, so Ring Of Honor Wrestling’s “The Brawler” Brian Milonas and referee Mike Crockett ease him back into the show by having a discussion on the most magical moments in wrestling history! What instances in wrestling – how ever brief they may have been – really let you forget what you’re watching and actually made you FEEL something? We’ve got some WCW memories, some spellbinding Ring Of Honor stuff, and yes, a few WrestleMania moments as well! Let us know the most enchanting thing you’ve witnessed as a fan. Plus, the guys share the magic they’ve personally felt in the ring! Also this week, this Promo About Nothing clowns around, Twitter and Punk thoughts, two minutes on Fury’s Disney trip and MILONAS CHANGES HIS INSTAGRAM HANDLE- WHY??
Ring Of Honor Wrestling’s “The Brawler” Brian Milonas and referee Mike Crockett, sans Brian Fury, are taking a long, hard look at the recent controversies in the wrestling business and how they have blown up on social media. Starting with Saudi Arabia, and the affect “Wrestling Twitter” had on accelerating this story (or non-story?) to astronomical levels. Also the situation with Jordan Myles/ACH, who made headlines by taking WWE to task through his own social media accounts. And one that’s close to Brian, the deal with Joey Mercury exposing some of ROH’s business on Twitter. Has social media helped or hurt pro wrestling? What affect has the recent wrestling boom had on wrestling talent in regards to their public opinions? Is there any good to come from online wrestling chatter? We get into all that, PLUS, will any good come of the next installment of Search & Destroy, also known as KINGPIN’S MEAN TWEETS? In addition, this Promo About Nothing gives a big middle finger, Crockett reveals which wrestling show he’s actually watching every week and WEIRD SEARCH TERMS returns!
Ring Of Honor Wrestling’s “The Brawler” Brian Milonas and referee Mike Crockett, the WPAN originals, are without Brian Fury this week and instead are talking wrestling figures with the Chief Marketing Officer of independent toy maker Figures Toy Company, Chris DePetrillo! FTC is the company behind Ring Of Honor’s action figure line, so I think you can connect the dots on why Milonas wanted to have him on. But really, Chris is a lifelong wrestling fan who has a great story of how he found his way into a job playing with toys. Figures Toy Company not only produces an ROH line, but works with independent talent and wrestling legends to get figures made of them as well! Chris takes us through the entire process, from signing a talent to a contract to product release. Plus, Brian begs to get a Brawler action figure, how they were able to do a figure of WCW’s KISS Demon, and the story of the Kevin Steen/Owens figure that sent Vince McMahon through the roof! Also in this episode, this Promo About Nothing is a car crash (literally, but not literally), Crockett designs podcast t-shirts (just not ours), and The Brawler is bilingual?
